Oil & Gas Pipeline, Terminals

Oil & Gas Pipeline, Terminals

Geiger understands the needs and considerations of pipeline and terminal applications in the oil and gas industry. Pipelines transport a variety of energy products including natural gas, biofuels, and liquid petroleum. The process involves three types of pipeline systems: gathering, transmission, and distribution, along with terminals used to manage the storage of these products. These systems need dependable pumps and processing equipment.

Oil and gas operations are strictly regulated and require a variety of important safety protocols and adherence to established petroleum industry standards. These applications are volatile by nature, and with Geiger, you can have confidence in our understanding of the products, processes, and challenges involved in day-to-day oil and gas operations.

ITT Goulds 3171 Vertical Sump and Process Pump

The Goulds Model 3171 is the industry's veteran vertical sump and process pump, with thousands of installations worldwide in industrial process, sump drainage, corrosive liquid handling, pollution control, and molten salt applications. API 610 11th edition VS4 compliant, the 3171 family covers the full range of vertical sump service from standard industrial drainage through severe corrosive and high-temperature process duties. The product line includes five variants: the standard 3171 (open impeller), CV 3171 (recessed impeller for solids and shear-sensitive fluids), LF 3171 (low-flow, high-head), NM 3171 (non-metallic for severe corrosives), and API 3171 (API 610 VS4 compliant for refinery and petrochemical service).

ITT Goulds 3196 i-FRAME Process Centrifugal Pump

The Goulds Model 3196 i-FRAME is the industry's benchmark ANSI standard dimension back pull-out process centrifugal pump, first introduced in 1961 and proven across more than 1,000,000 installations worldwide. Users in chemical, petrochemical, pulp and paper, primary metals, food and beverage, oil and gas, water, and general industry consistently choose the 3196 for its exceptional reliability, ease of maintenance, and the lowest life cycle cost in its class. The i-FRAME Power End incorporates Goulds' patented intelligent monitoring technology and is backed by a standard 5-year warranty — a testament to its industry-leading design. As the only pump manufacturer to make digital condition monitoring standard on every process pump, ITT Goulds continues to set the standard for performance and innovation. The LF 3196 variant provides optimized hydraulics for low-flow process services where conventional end suction pumps would experience premature bearing and seal failure due to off-BEP operation.

ITT Goulds 3296 EZMAG Magnetically Driven Chemical Process Pump

The Goulds 3296 EZMAG is a heavy-duty sealless magnetic drive ANSI process pump engineered for zero-emission handling of corrosive, volatile, toxic, and difficult-to-seal process fluids. ANSI B73.1 dimensional compliant, the 3296 EZMAG is the ANSI-dimensioned expansion of ITT's successful ISO magnetic drive ICM pump, offering drop-in replacement capability for existing ANSI installations without requiring piping modifications. With no mechanical seal and a one-piece Hastelloy C containment shell rated to 2,175 PSI burst pressure, the 3296 EZMAG eliminates fugitive emission risk and ongoing mechanical seal maintenance costs. A fluoropolymer-lined variant handles the most severe corrosives cost-effectively, and a high-temperature variant with samarium cobalt magnets extends service to 535°F.
