Kinney Rotary Piston Vacuum Pumps
Kinney rotary piston vacuum pumps rely on oil-filled clearances rather than metal-to-metal contact between the piston and cylinder, which limits wear in harsh, dirty service. The line includes single- and two-stage models with duplex or triplex piston arrangements, in air-cooled and water-cooled versions.

KC Series: two-stage, air-cooled, recommended for operating pressures below 0.1 Torr; manufacturer lists evacuating refrigeration systems, liquid gas storage, brake filling systems, low-pressure chemical vapor deposition (LPCVD), and leak detection
KTC Series: two-stage, primarily air-cooled (one water-cooled model), also recommended below 0.1 Torr; manufacturer lists the same uses as KC plus silicon crystal growing
KT Series: single-stage, water-cooled with optional air-cooling, built with an integral positive-pressure lubrication system; manufacturer lists transformer oil drying, heat treating, coating, and metallurgy
KD & KDH Series: single-stage duplex pumps, air-cooled (KD) or water-cooled (KDH); no separate named application list published, sized for pressures around 0.01 Torr
