Tilted Disc® Check Valves
The Val-Matic Tilted Disc® Check Valve offers the lowest headloss of any check valve available, with a flow area 40% greater than nominal pipe size and a streamlined body with hydrodynamic disc. Its 40° short disc stroke provides quick closing and water hammer protection, while the lift-and-tilt seat action prevents wear for long valve life. Available in ANSI Classes 125, 150, and 250 in sizes 3"–60". Optional top and bottom mounted oil dashpots prevent slam. Independently certified flow and cycle tests. NSF 61 and NSF 372 certified; meets AWWA C508. Manufactured under an ISO 9001 certified quality system.
